What are Affirmations and How do They Work?

Affirmations are statements you declare to yourself as true. The mission of positive affirmations is to alter your mindset to create a better habit or to improve your life overall. 

Affirmations are not magic spells, but they help you to set goals and help keep at the front of your mind what you intend. The power of affirmations will resonate with you through your daily life serving as reminders for what you want or how you’d like to live. 

Have you ever been nervous before stepping into a big meeting or before giving a presentation? You might say “you got this”. That’s a positive affirmation. 

You can practice positive affirmations anywhere, you can make fun signs and hang them by your vanity mirror for reminders, or you can fully meditate on the positivity.
